1. Introduction1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of cleaning, home help, and specialist cleaning services (such as carpet cleaning, oven cleaning, window cleaning) by Home Services London Ltd ("the Company") to the Client.1.2 This Agreement is made under and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London.
2. Services2.1 The Company provides general home cleaning services, home help services (including light household tasks such as laundry, ironing, tidying, and errands), and specialist cleaning services as requested by the Client.2.2 Some handyman or repair services requested by the Client may be carried out by trusted subcontractors who are engaged directly by the Client. These subcontractors will invoice the Client directly for their services.
3. Payment Terms3.1 All payment terms, including fees and method of payment, will be clearly agreed and confirmed with the Client before any work commences.3.2 The Client agrees to pay for the services rendered according to the agreed payment terms.3.3 Late payment may attract penalties as specified in the payment agreement. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Scheduling and Access4.1 The Client agrees to provide the Company and its employees or subcontractors access to the premises at the agreed times.4.2 The Client will provide any necessary keys or access codes securely and understands responsibility for their safekeeping.
5. Liability and Complaints5.1 The Company will take reasonable care in performing the cleaning and home help services.5.2 Complaints about the services provided must be reported within 24 hours of completion for rectification.5.3 The Company is not liable for any damage caused by pre-existing conditions or third-party subcontractors.
6. Subcontractors6.1 Handyman or specialist repair services will be provided by reputable subcontractors engaged directly by the Client.6.2 The Client is responsible for payment of invoices issued by these subcontractors.6.3 The Company acts only as a facilitator for such subcontracted services but does not assume liability for their work or payments.
7. Cancellation and Termination7.1 Cancellation policies, including any notice periods and fees, will be specified in the service agreement or quotation.7.2 The Company reserves the right to terminate services if payment terms are breached or access is not granted as agreed.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions8.1 The Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.8.2 The Company will give notice of any changes before they take effect by posting the updated Terms on its website or providing written notice to Clients.8.3 Continued use of the Company’s services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
